How To Build An Optimized Inbound Link Network!

One of the secrets to building a reciprocal link network is by increasing the number of links pointing to your website. Incoming links to your website are important to search engines and are used to help determine your page rank. The more incoming links you have, then the higher your website is placed in Googles search results.

What most people do not know is that not all incoming links are given the same weight, and that the incoming, non reciprocal links are given more importance.

There are many ways to get inbound links to your site without having to give out reciprocal links or put out alot of cash. Here are just a few ideas.

  • Good website content. You must make sure that your website is full of useful, informative content. When you have a lot of relevant content other website owners will want to link to your website because it will be a great resource to them and their visitors. Some examples of good content are ebooks, a newsletter, tools and software, free articles, tips that are related to your website, and a blog that is updated daily with new material.

Search engines and directories try to locate the websites that offer something valuable and unique to the Internet. People actually link to sites simply because they find the content useful.

  • Testimonials. If you happen to find an interesting, informative website then send a testimonial to the website owner. They may give you a link to your website if they post your testimonial on their website. These links all add up and are important for search engine ranking.
  • Online Directories. There are many online directories that you can submit your website to. This helps with getting inbound links to your site. Some of the directories require you to pay or provide a reciprocal link. But, there are many online directories that will accept your submission for free and with no reciprocal link.
Just do some research to determine which ones are free, or if you have the extra cash, go ahead and pay up (or you can send some my way).

  • Content Articles. One of the best ways to get inbound links to your website is through article marketing. Interesting, informative, professionally written articles with the appropriate content can provide you with targeted traffic and high quality permanent links to your web site.

It is very important that your articles contain your targeted keywords and that they read well!

You can submit articles to websites, ezines, and article directories. An easy way to get your article published is to go to Google or Yahoo groups and do a search for “Internet Articles Publishing”. Get involved with some of the groups, this will allow you to find websites that are looking for articles.

Do not forget to put information about yourself, with a link to your website in the resource box of the article, as this will open up the potential for many inbound links to your website. Articles can be the most time consuming of link building tasks when you take into consideration the time it takes to write and submit the article. A helpful tip is to make sure you add the locations of the article submission sites to a folder in your “Favorites”. This will save time when you go to submit new articles.

  • Free Ebook. Alot of people think that ebooks are hard to write and could take a long time to put together, but you can actually create one in no time. You can make it a collection of your favorite tools, resources and articles that are related to your website. As long as the ebook is considered useful by your visitors then they may link to your website for a copy or agree to offer your ebook on their website. Make sure you include links to your website in the ebook.
  • Blogs. Combining a link building campaign with blogs will give you alot of exposure for your business or program. Blogs are another tool that many entrepreneurs are using to produce great results. Because Blogs are updated with content on a regular basis they tend to rank higher then normal websites.

What most people do not realize is that Blogs are free and take just a few minutes to set up!

The easiest way to get inbound links with blogs is to simply host one on your website and update it frequently. Blogs are linked to more often because the content is being constantly updated. You will also get more inbound links with blogs when you submit it to blog directories. Do a search on Google for “free blog directory” and you will find many directories that you can submit to for free.

  • Host a free article directory. Why not create an article directory on your website and have visitors submit articles to it? You can then request a link back to your website in exchange for the article submission. This will improve your inbound links while also creating free content for your website.
  • Get listed in the major directories. Yahoo and the Open Directory Project are two of the most important directories at present. The Open Directory Project is free but it can be difficult to get a listing approved because they only list sites with original content that do not have alot of affiliate links. Inclusion in the Open Directory Project and Yahoo is well worth the effort and will be very helpful in boosting the standing for your site in search engine results.

There are also many smaller directories that are set up for particular areas of interest. Getting listed in them will take some time, but persistence will pay off, not only in your search engine page ranking but in bringing targeted traffic to your website. A few visitors to your website that are interested in what you have to offer are more valuable then many uninterested visitors.

It is also important to make sure that any sites you link to are related to your topic. You can use search engines to find related sites, and by linking to sites that have a high page ranking in the search engines you will provide your site with more exposure.

Remember that non reciprocal links are more important for search engine ranking because they are not reciprocated (search engines can actually detect whether links are reciprocal) and they do not have to be monitored as reciprocal links.

Here is one last tip, do a search on the keywords that you want to improve your search engine ranking for. From these results use the Domains of the sites that rank above your own, and go to Yahoo and enter, linkdomain:www. site that rank above yours. com. Contact the web sites that resulted from the linkdomain search and ask them to link to your site. Do this for each of the linkdomain searches.

The ideas above offer the most consistently over time and even though they may seem time consuming, are well worth the effort.

I wish you success in building your inbound link network, and even though it will take time and effort, done right, the rewards will be worth it!

Finding Clients In An Ocean Of Competitors

There is more business being done online than ever before. There are hundreds of thousands of new business web sites coming on every month. 70% of the US population (233 million people) are online. Over 1.2 billion people worldwide are online. The question is how do we find clients in an ocean of competitors?

Part of the answer to the above question is which number do you focus on, the number of people on line or the number of competitors? If you are focused on the number of people online, read on. If you are more focused on the number of competitors, read on.

Search engine marketing has been proven to have the lowest cost per acquisition of any other marketing medium. It is the only medium where people are actively searching for you. A successful campaign should include a web site designed around one question: “What are your clients looking for?” This is the starting point and may seem basic but it is surprising how many people have are just scratching the surface in their understanding of this.

Your clients are in need of solutions, answers or products. Do they know:

1.that you exist?
2.the unique value that you bring to the table?
3.the depth of knowledge and experience you can bring to bear in helping them solve their issues?
4.the passion that you have for meeting their needs?

SEO Management

SEO (search engine optimization), is the art helping people find what they are looking for, on your site”. A well optimized website requires two elements the correct “on page” optimization so that the search engines can determine the relevancy of the information you are presenting. Yes, it is not as important as it use to be but it is still needed. Another essential piece of the puzzle is “off page optimization”. This is having web sites linking back to yours. You may think that you are important and provide a great service to mankind but if no one else does you will not get ranked well. Quality links to your web site and an on going linking strategy is absolutely vital for good rankings. SEO optimization is not a onetime deal it is an ongoing process.

PPC Management

Pay-per-click is a fantastic way to drive traffic to your site from the major search engines. It can also suck your marketing budget dry in just a couple of days if not done properly. The goal of the search engines (and their strategies) is more clicks. The more people click on your ads the more money the search engines make. Their strategy is to get as many clicks as possible with in your budget and they are willing to do that all day long. Great for them bad for you.

The real goal should be more conversion with less clicks and lower cost. For lead generation sites this will mean lower cost per conversion. For ecommerce sites this will result in a higher “return on ad spend”. It is easy to figure out: profit/ad spend=% and if that % is not over 101% you are losing money! The only way to do that is to track every thing from clicks to conversions; cost per click to cost per conversion; total revenue. PPC Management should be the process that is designed to make that happen.

Click Fraud Management

Click Fraud is a fact of life in the online world. The search engines are getting better at detecting and crediting their online advertisers. The key is to find a Click Fraud program that can track an IP address even if the go to another search engine and click on your ads and give them a warning that they are being tracked. It is amazing how bad behavior stops if the they know they are being watched and tracked! Also, some click fraud caused by our clients who find it easier to keep clicking on our ad instead of book marking our page. This will give them a gentle reminder to do that.

Many Roads

It is also important to examine as many roads to your site as possible. Find blogs where your clients hang out. Write articles and publish them on the web. There are hundreds of sites that will publish you articles for free. For a nominal fee some sites will push your article out to thousands of other sites looking for content, Isnare.com is a good example. This is great from three perspectives. One, you will get a tremendous amount of links back to your site. Secondly, this will lead to increase traffic and thirdly writing articles will help establish you as an expert in your field. There are newsletters, co-registration, Affiliate Marketing. The key is to research these and see what will work for you.

Hire or not to Hire outside help

“How do I know if I need help?”

You might need help if:

1.Your clients and customers are not able to find you on the search engines.
2.You do not know why your competitors are in the top ten search results and you are on page 10,001!
3.You can not keep up with the changing technologies and even the changes in the market.
3.You do not have the time to take away from what you do best, running your business!

If you do need help do your home work.

1.Get references and call them.
2.Get specifics about how they have helped their clients.
2.Find out how many clients they have and how many your account manager will handle.
3.Get a specific action calendar. Know what they are going to do and when it will be complete.
4.Make sure they understand your products, services and goals.
5.Do not be afraid to get another company to “audit” their work

Finally

This is serious business and one can loose a lot of money and time very quickly if you do not do it correctly. The bottom line is, if your customers cannot find you, they will find someone else. If you do not have someone in house with a passion to help grow your business. Find someone who knows what is important to the search engines and will not get you banned.

What’s the difference between hosting with unlimited domains and reselling hosting?

I have a need to host a half dozen domains, four of which are for clients. I figure I can make a couple of bucks here. Godaddy.com has a deal for $6.99 a month with unlimited domains, but I don’t think this would be a reseller arrangement. What is the difference between this and a reseller account? Couldn’t I host my client’s Domains on this account and charge them? Confused…

If you host your clients sites on your account, they will not have access to those accounts without going into your file structure. Even though they can be limited to their own files, you will have to add them as add-on domains, which add folders under yours.

Reseller accounts allow you to create totally separate accounts for your clients, with their own file space and logins. If they break any of the hosting rules, only their site will be shut down, instead of yours and all those added onto your account.

Affiliate Marketing, what is it and can it really produce the income several website out there promise?

I’m looking to make a little extra income. My wife is unemployed, I have two children and a stand-still job. If this method can bring me $300 - $500 more per month I would consider investing in Affiliate Marketing. If the majority of these claims are scams, please let me know or if you know how to produce the results as advertised please send me a link with a guide or a recommended site to read. Thanks in advance!!! One last thing, if this method is completely false please enlighten me with something else that may help. Thanks again!

If you want to promote a affilite link online, you need to establish a website first. Here is a guide to properly getting your site going - http://www.richkahmer.com/build-a-website.html
Once you have a quality site with decent traffic you can push a product on there. CJ.com is pretty good if you get a lot of traffic. (they will cancel your account if you don’t produce enough traffic)

What could GW Bush do about the high cost of Auto Fuel?

He could order high test be removed from the market. Diverting that refining capacity to Regular.
This would increase the stocks of Regular and lower it’s price.
He could order a 20 percent reduction in Jet fuel use domestically. Diverting that refining capacity to regular Auto fuel.
He could order a 20 percent reduction in Jet fuel use by domestic airlines. Diverting that refining capacity to regular Auto fuel.
He could subsidize Ethanol plant buildings for Auto Fuel, that would lower the price of new plants.
What will he do? Nothing. GW Bush only takes action on the problems that effect the wealthy, he never takes action on any problem that effects working class Americans. GW Bush would never do anything to stop big oil profits from rolling in and his own party’s Contributions from big oil. Congress is also useless. Democrats are spineless.
Gasoline production= 9 million barrels per day.
Refinery’s running at 90.2 percent of capacity.
Gasoline demand= 9.14 million barrels per day.
BTW, drilling is not the problem. Only idiots think that. Refining capacity is the problem. GW Bush is the problem. Bush could also release the Federal Oil reserve and all of above could be done by executive order, don’t need the do nothing Congress..

Reduction is not the problem, we need more supply. The short term solution is cutting gas tax at state and federal level. Then make 1 national blend.

Long term

Build new refineries
Drill domestically.
