Very cool. Key …
Very cool. Key phrase in that sentence “something I did for fun”. Many of the successful sites online start because of something fun. That’s the best way to start. Congrats!

Hey saw your videos …
Hey saw your videos and was very impressed. I did purchase SBI and have a top ranked website with very little effort. And my site isn’t even that great but just something I did for fun.
If someone is going to get into an MLM business then I suggest just make sure you have a good sponser who is a good marketer.

I do have an …
I do have an interesting question and scenario Lisa. A company comes out with a new hot product with all kinds of benefits.
It’s a monthly service so the commissions are residual.
They have decided to use the MLM model.
Unlike many MLMs the product will be purchased by consumers that are not in the business.
Would you join and just sell the product like you normally do? Then if someone sees your marketing and says I would like to join this business with you can say yes or no.

I like your initial …
I like your initial explanation but we disagree about the MLM approach however. I don’t blame you for not wanting to convince anyone to join anything. I don’t do that either. Like yourself I record videos, give tutorials and write articles. If people want to join me in an MLM I am completely honest with them and let them know upfront that not everyone makes 6 figures in this industry. It takes hard work like any other profession that has the potential to make 6 and 7 figures.

That’s great! You know it’s always good to hear people succeeding and loving MLM. I really think it gets a bad name out here and there are some really solid programs if you are good at what you do. And it sounds like you’ve mastered it. Great work!

Crappy? Sure, tell …
Crappy? Sure, tell that to Lisa’s paychecks and all the other people out here making a living online as an affiliate (shall I go thru the list?). “The best way” to make money is relevant. What is best for Lisa and the other people making a full time living online may not be best for you. Find what you do best and stick to it. Obviously Lisa does this best. When you make the kind of money online that these people make, them maybe your comments will have more merit/respect.

@smooshcrickets - …
@smooshcrickets -powwebvideos has already taken you to school, but i want to get my licks in. i found this presenter to be quite open and straightforward. there were no contradictions. affiliate programs are FREE to join, while MLM programs have a FEE to join, which is why suckering a lot of people to join is so important in mlm. she said very clearly these second-tier affiliate programs are not the main thing for her because no matter how many join, most fail, so little money. watch again!

The only thing …
The only thing bogus is you not knowing your facts. Two tier affiliate programs have been around for ages and they are perfectly legit. It would be like Best Buy paying you to refer someone to buy a TV from their site (which they already do) and then when you refer a friend to join their program you get a commission of your friend’s sales. That would make it two tier. Many respected companies out here have Two Tier programs. Might want to do your homework before calling people out.

this is bogus, “two …
this is bogus, “two tier” sounds just like the pyramid scheme. I agree with much of what she says yet I don’t trust her. If you didn’t understand all of it, watch the video again. you may be able to see the contradiction is some of the things that she says.

CB is not 2 tier, but they have a few residual programs where you earn multiple commissions from one product if it’s on subscription based. I think you can sort by those programs if you go search their marketplace. I don’t think there are many though.

Lisa,
Very good job. I’m featuring this video on a Squidoo lens I have about affiliate marketing. On a side note, another thing a some marketers are finding themselves in legal hot water over is email marketing.
I quit mailing to my lists and focus on social networking instead. keep up the good work!

o Lisa.
You mentioned 2-tier affiliate programs. Does Clickbank come into the definition 2-tier affiliate program due to the fact that Clickbank comes in between the merchant and the affiliate marketer?
Thanks in advance!
